52 photos – week 22

This photo was taken at a lovely cafe in the centre of Coventry called Coffee Tots. You can read more about it here. It is run as a not for profit organisation, so the food and drink they serve is amazingly good value compared to other establishments in town – we usually get a drink and snack for all 3 of us for less than £2.50. The best part for the boys though is that there are plenty of toys for them to play with and it’s hard to drag them away when we need to get going. They also loved their toast and squash here 🙂

  1. That sounds lovely. If I was still in Coventry I would be there!
It’s hard just to ‘pop’ out for coffee when the kids want to run around, so it sounds ideal.

  2. Sounds perfect! All kids that age need is a bit of toast and squash but it is so hard to find that when out and about… we often have to buy a sandwich for Oscar that he really doesn’t like, you know?

When I saw this photo I first saw Joel and thought it was an old photo of Andrew… honestly, he is looking more and more like him as he gets older 🙂

    1. yes, it’s so good to get something simple and cheap 🙂 Haha, yes I can see them becoming more alike, though Joel is still more Tom and Andrew more me

  3. I love this cafe my little boy is almost 3 and my little girl is 9 and they both enjoy going in because it has an amazing atmosphere. I have made some amazing friends and am able to relax and have a coffee while my children play there is no where else in town where you can get this love coffee tots.
